90mm Contemporary Newel Post Flat Caps These Flat Newel Caps are designed to fit onto our range of 90mm complete newels and newel turnings. All flat caps are rebated on the underside to fit over any new or existing 90mm x 90mm or 90mm x 42mm Newel posts with a flat top. All caps are supplied ready for you to apply your chosen finish unless otherwise specified Choose from the following timbers Scandinavian Pine – Softwood. A yellowish wood with knots and natural character. All knots are sound and live. Suitable for staining, varnishing or painting White Oak – Hardwood. Light brown clear timber with very small knot if any. Will turn golden brown when finishing in either oil, wax, stain or varnish.
