Our professional UFH screed kits to heat multiple rooms is designed to be installed onto a foiled insulation board and covered by a screed. The screed kits are best suited to new builds and extensions and will work with all types of floor coverings including carpet, vinyl, laminate, engineered wood and tiles. The high output kit uses 150mm pipe centres which makes them ideal for conservatories and areas with a high heat loss. IMPORTANT: if using wooden flooring (laminate, parquet, engineered) a floor probe must be used in each room to limit the floor temperature to 27 degree celcius. Screed Kit Installation Overview: 100mm of foil backed insulation is laid onto a level subfloor. The pipe is fixed to the insulation using pipe staples supplied in the kit, then covered by a 65mm screed (see the picture attached). Alternative fixtures like clip rails and pipe trays can be used in place of staples and are recommended for larger areas to greatly reduce installation times. Available to purchase here.
