The Heatmiser remote probe will measure the air or floor temperature and is an ideal for use in bathrooms or wet rooms when the thermostat cannot be housed aside the room. The thermostat would be mounted outside of the room and the remote probe fed through the wall and placed in a discreet location, either within the separately sold wall housing or in the floor. It is recommended to use the Heatmiser remote probe when using wooden flooring over your underfloor heating system. This ensures the floor temperature is regulated to 27 degree celcius, above which flooring can become damaged. Each probe is 3m long, housed in a sturdy plastic jacket and can be extended to 20m using screen or cat 5 FTP cable and a junction box. Remote probe compatible thermostats include the Heatmiser Slimline, Touch & Neo.
