Squared Glass Balustrade The Squared Glass range, a unique range of easy fit of stair parts that will transform your staircase. Available in Oak or Pine with Chrome fittings and 8mm glass panels. The handrails are grooved to accept glass panels up to 8mm thick. Select the timber type and the length required for your stairs or landing Squared Handrails Select from either Oak or Pine timber and then select from 4 lengths of rail. The squared handrail has been manufactured to suit the Squared chrome handrail fittings for an easy installation or they can be fitted in the traditional way if required. Squared Handrails for glass are grooved to allow glass up to 8mm thick to be fitted. All rails are supplied with an infill strip that slots in between the glass panels to help in securing the panels in place. We recommend that all glass is bedded onto a bead of silicone during installation, this will stop any glass rattle after fitting. These rails are suitable for any glass panels up to 8mm thick and can be fitted to any newel post with a flat face with or without the chrome fittings When installing pine rails over a span of 2400 we would always recommend positioning an intermediate newel post to add strength and stability to the rails and stop any flex or movement.
