This kit is manufactured to the highest European standards; our professional screed kit here is designed to to heat one room. Kit includes all you need to be installed onto a foiled insulation board and covered by a screed. These kits are best suited to new builds and extensions and will work with all types of floor coverings including: ⬥ Carpet ⬥ Vinyl ⬥ Laminate ⬥ Engineered wood ⬥ Tiles The high output kits use 150mm pipe centres, making them ideal for conservatories and rooms with a high heat loss. IMPORTANT: if using wooden flooring (laminate, parquet, engineered) a floor probe must be used in each room to limit the floor temperature to 27 degree celsius. Screed Kit Installation Overview: 100mm of foil backed insulation is laid onto a level subfloor. The pipe is fixed to the insulation using pipe staples supplied in the kit, then covered by a 65mm screed (see the picture presented). Alternative fixtures like clip rails and pipe trays can be used in place of staples and are recommended for larger areas to greatly reduce installation times.
